Will Dana named A&S Dean's Medalist in Natural Sciences

Will Dana has been named one of the four 2017 recipients of the College of Arts and Sciences' Dean's Medal, presented annually to an outstanding student in each of the College's four divisions. Will is a Mathematics major and Music minor, and will begin graduate studies in mathematics at the University of Michigan next year. He has been doing research for a senior thesis under the supervision of Professor Jim Morrow as well as research within the Washington Experimental Math Lab with other students under the supervision of Professor Doug Lind. Will is the thirteenth math major in the past sixteen years to receive the Natural Sciences Dean’s Medal.
