Mark Bun and Will Johnson have been awarded the UW's Sophomore and Junior Medals. The University of Washington awards these medals to the junior and senior having the highest scholastic standing for the first two and three years of coursework, respectively. Mark is a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science. Will, already a Computer Science major, recently declared as a Mathematics major as well. Mark, Will, and the Freshman Medalist each credit Mathematics faculty as significant influences. Read more in this University Week article.
