Deadlines:
Autumn Qtr: May 25
Winter Qtr: October 25
Spring Qtr: January 25
Summer Qtr: April 25

Sequences: If you are teaching a course in a sequence, we ask that you coordinate course materials with other instructors so students can ideally use the same textbook for multiple quarters, if appropriate.

Course Content:  The Department has standardized many undergraduate courses and recommend textbooks.  You can find content details here: https://math.washington.edu/course-materials

Course Reserves: It can be helpful to have a textbook in the UW Library course reserve program, especially if it is expensive.  You can view instructions for placing material on reserve on the website and any questions can be directed to ugres@uw.edu

Desk Copies: A limited number of desk copies for some standard courses may be available from the Department.  If you want to request a desk copy that we don't already have, we suggest reaching out far in advance to the publisher; request 2 copies if your class will have a TA.

Assigning your own textbook: Follow the Washington State Executive Ethics Board guidance.
