On April 8, the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation announced the recipients of its 2015 Fellowships listing the recipients the next day in a full-page ad in the New York Times. The fellowships are "intended for men and women who have already demonstrated exceptional capacity for productive scholarship or exceptional creative ability in the arts." Tatiana Toro is one of two mathematicians this year to receive the honor, which will allow her to further her research in geometric measure theory, harmonic analysis, and partial differential equations.
