You may receive a request to confirm textbooks and required reading materials for your course either prior to or near the beginning of the quarter. DRS gets information about textbooks from the bookstore who in turn gets information about our courses from Math Advising.
If your course does not have a coordinator, you are responsible for responding to this request yourself in a timely manner.
If you receive one of these requests for a student in a coordinated course where all instructors use the same textbook(s) (Math 111, 112, 120, 124, 125, 126, 207, 208, or 224), you should forward the request to your coordinator, who will fill out the included form and indicate that the information applies to all sections of the course. (Requests will come to individual instructors but the form only needs to be filled out once by the coordinator.) This will cover all materials that are common to coordinated sections. If you use any additional materials in your section, you will need to ensure that those materials conform to the requirements set out in the FNL, either by making them accessible yourself or sending them to DRS for remediation.
