Mathematics major Chad Klumb has been awarded the UW's Sophomore Medal. Chad is now a two-time UW medalist, having won the Freshman Medal last year. The University of Washington awards the Freshman Medal to the sophomore having the highest scholastic standing for the first year of his or her course, and the Sophomore Medal to the junior having the highest scholastic standing for the first two years of his or her course.
