Julia Pevtsova has received a CAREER grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The NSF awards these prestigious grants to "junior faculty who exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through outstanding research, excellent education and the integration of education and research within the context of the mission of their organizations." Some of the ways Pevtsova will use the CAREER grant include developing new connections between representation theory and algebraic geometry, advancing understanding of geometric and homological properties of representations of algebras, and expanding her outreach efforts.
