The Swedish Academy took a break from awarding Nobel Prizes in October to learn from Gunther Uhlmann about Inverse problems and Harry Potter's cloak. This was part of the Academy Lectures, a series of open lectures covering the most exciting fields of science in which the Academy is active. Gunther spoke about inverse problems and the progress that has been made in achieving invisibility via transformation optics.
