Dmitriy Drusvyatskiy and Thomas Rothvoss awarded NSF CAREER grants

Dima Drusvyatskiy and Thomas Rothvoss have both been awarded CAREER grants under the National Science Foundation's Faculty Early Career Development Program.  Thomas, who has a joint faculty position in Computer Science and Engineering, had previously received a Sloan Research Fellowship and a Packard Fellowship in Science and Engineering.  Dima had previously received an Air Force Young Investigator Research award.  Both work on aspects of optimization theory.
