New Postdoctoral Scholars

Sheela Devadas received her PhD from Stanford University in 2021 under the supervision of Brian Conrad. Her area of research is in algebraic geometry. She will be working with Max Lieblich.

Lijun Ding received his PhD from Cornell University in 2021 under the supervision of Yudong Chen and Madeleine Udell. His research lies at the intersection of optimization, statistics, and machine learning. He will be working with Dima Drusvyatskiy.

Timothy Duff received his PhD from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2021 under the supervision of Anton Leykin. His research involves computational aspects of algebraic geometry, particularly numerical algebraic geometry, and their application to subjects like computer vision. He will be working with Rekha Thomas.

Andrea Ottolini received his PhD from the Stanford University in 2021 under the supervision of Persi Diaconis. His area of research is in probability theory, analysis and mathematical physics. He will be working with Soumik Pal.

Hadrian Quan received his PhD from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2021 under the supervision of Pierre Albin. His research is at the interface of differential geometry and the analysis of partial differential equations. He hopes to work with Alexis Drouot, Hart Smith, Gunther Uhlmann, and others.

Xueying Yu received her PhD from University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2018 under the supervision of Andrea Nahmod. Her research is in dispersive partial differential equations. She will be working with Bobby Wilson.
