Submitted by Rose Choi on May 18, 2022 - 2:54pm

The UW Department of Mathematics will be hosting four conferences this summer:

Conformal Geometry, Analysis, and Physics (June 13-17, 2022)

In addition to being an opportunity to exchange mathematical ideas, the conference will serve as a celebration of the work of Robin Graham on the occasion of his 65th birthday and academic retirement.

Recent Advances and New Directions in the Interplay of Noncommutative Algebra and Geometry (June 20-24, 2022)

A conference in honor of S. Paul Smith on the occasion of his 65th birthday.

Algebraic Geometry and Singularities Learning Workshop & Conference (June 20-26, 2022)

This event is supported by the NSF FRG Grant: Algebraic Geometry and Singularities in Positive and Mixed Characteristic. You can find out more about the activities of this FRG grant here: www.math.utah.edu/~schwede/FRG/.

Combinatorial, Computational, and Applied Algebraic Geometry (June 27-July 1, 2022)

CCAAGS-22 will bring together researchers working in the creative mixture of combinatorial and computational ideas in applied algebraic geometry. We will also celebrate Bernd Sturmfels and his contributions to the field on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

Harmonic Analysis and Waves (August 10-12, 2022)

This conference is organized in honor of Hart Smith’s 60th birthday and will present an exciting array of speakers.
