UW Math has been featured in the local and national media for innovative and interdisciplinary educational and public engagement efforts. UW Math has been deeply involved in the UW in the High School program since 2000, led by then-chair Professor Emeritus Don Marshall and Professor David Collingwood. This program was recently recognized in The Seattle Times, with a particular emphasis on the affordability and accessibility of the program. Teaching Professor Andrew Loveless will be taking over the mathematics portion of this program in 2025.
