The instructor of record is ultimately responsible for ensuring that students receive accommodations included in the Faculty Notification Letter (FNL) email sent by Disability Resources for Students (DRS) at the beginning of the quarter. The needs of a specific student for a given course will vary. The following is meant to clarify some common questions about accommodations in our courses and offer some sample course policies and practices. You will need to adapt these to your students and your course. When in doubt about a specific issue, it may be best to speak with someone directly at DRS.
