Rates of change, tangent, derivative, accumulation, area, integrals in specific contexts, particularly economics. Techniques of differentiation and integration. Application to problem solving. Optimization. Credit does not apply toward a mathematics major. Cannot be taken for credit if credit has already been earned for MATH 111. Course equivalent to: B MATH 144 and TMATH 122. Course overlaps with: MATH 124; Q SCI 291; STMATH 113; STMATH 114; STMATH 124; and TMATH 122. Prerequisite: minimum grade of 2.0 in MATH 111. Offered: WSp.
