Title: Archimedes' principle
Abstract:
I will discuss some topics from classical mechanics, statistical physics and probability. I will focus on a special case of Archimedes' principle. Time permitting, I will also discuss reflection of gas particles (or light) from rough surfaces, particle trajectories in gas centrifuges and ball trajectories in bingo machines.
