Abstract: In this talk, we will describe the proof of Carleson's ε²-Conjecture as given by Xavier Tolsa, Benjamin Jaye, and Michele Villa in their 2019 paper, "A Proof of Carleson's ε²-Conjecture". The conjecture, which seeks to characterize tangent points of certain planar curves, is proven using two main lemmas, one of which we will focus on in detail during the talk. This talk is purely expository.
