GSAS: Combinatoric Conditions for the Geometry of Julia Sets

Dendrite (tree-like) Julia sets represent an important family of Julia sets corresponding to the boundary of the Mandelbrot set. It is well-known that this family can be parametrized using the unit circle. In this talk, I will show how to translate geometric problems associated with Julia sets into more trackable combinatorial criteria for points on the unit circle. In doing so, we are able to conclude some specific geometric properties for dendrite Julia sets.
