Student AG Seminar: The Potential Density Degree Set

In order to study the arithmetic of curves over global fields, I'll introduce the density degree set and its more geometric analogue, the potential density degree set. We will see how the Mordell-Lang conjecture gives a geometric description of the potential density degree set and use the geometry of the Picard group to compute the potential density degree set for some nice curves.
