Cubic points on dynamical modular curves
 

In a construction analogous to the classical modular curves, one can construct moduli spaces parametrizing dynamical systems with specified preperiodic structure. For the family of quadratic polynomials, these moduli spaces are known as the dynamical modular curves. We determine which dynamical modular curves have infinitely many cubic points.
