Inverse problems for the Boltzmann equation and the BGK equation (joint with IP seminar)

In this talk, we will begin by introducing mathematical background and
recent developments related to inverse problems for the transport
equation. We will explore the linearization technique and utilize it
to recover collision kernels in both the Boltzmann collision operator
and the BGK operator from measurements collected at the boundary of
the domain.
