Happily Ever Aftermath

Crannell earned her math PhD in 1992 and got her first-choice job at a small, liberal arts college.  The author of “Applying for Jobs: Advice from the Front” and Starting Our Careers, she has served on the Joint Committee on Employment Opportunities, the AMS Presidential Task Force on Employment, and the MAA Board of Governors.

In this talk, she will discuss her own career, how to prepare for careers that have significant teaching components, and professional development opportunities available through the MAA. She'll also to take a brief (but important!) detour into time management and personal finance.
