Careers in Mathematics: A new seminar series for undergraduates

Sharon Arroyo is a Technical Fellow in the Applied Mathematics Group at Boeing and the technical lead for operations research. She received her B.S. in Mathematics from Stanford University and her MS and PhD in Operations Research from Cornell University. She uses mathematics to help Boeing reduce costs and improve products and operations in areas such as supply chain, airline scheduling, wind tunnel testing, aircraft delivery, logistics, communication networks, sensor fusion and scheduling.

Sharon will talk about her background and career path and answer questions. This is a great opportunity to network and find out how to leverage a degree in Math or ACMS into a fabulous career.
