On asymptotically hyperbolic Einstein manifolds 

 Abstract:  In this talk I will introduce the research on asymptotically hyperbolic Einstein manifolds and its relation to conformal geometry in the spirit of AdS/CFT correspondence proposed in the study of quantum gravity in theoretical physics. We will report some recent works regarding rigidity and compactness on asymptotically hyperbolic manifolds.
