Analysis on Metric Graphs

Junaid Hasan, University of Washington
Thursday, November 10, 2022 - 12:30pm to 1:30pm
PDL C-401

In this talk we will explore the world of metric graphs: finite weighted graphs, whose edges can be thought of as line segments. In particular we will define a Laplacian on metric graphs, and study some important functions and measures on metric graphs. Our special focus will be on the "canonical measure" which arises when we think of a metric graph as an electrical network.
