The focus of this panel is on how to start applying for academic jobs, specifically research postdocs and teaching at the college level. This includes finding letters of recommendation, writing research/teaching statements, and the logistics of the applications. The deadlines come up early in the Fall so you might want to start thinking about it now if you are getting close to finishing.
Panelists will include Catherine Babecki, Marty Bishop, Kevin Chien, Xueying Yu. Everyone is welcome to join, ask questions and contribute to the discussion. Others who have recently applied are especially encouraged to attend and share some thoughts on the process.
