Symmetric tensor categories and skew group algebras

This will be a brief introduction to finite tensor
categories, in particular the symmetric ones that
include the categories of representations of finite
groups and finite group schemes. We will define
skew group algebras and explain their appearance in
a classification theorem, due to Deligne, for
symmetric tensor categories over algebraically
closed fields of characteristic 0.
