I will talk about symmetric alpha-stable type
processes having singular/degenerate Levy densities
at 0 via their Dirichlet forms. In particular, I consider
how the degeneracy or singularity at 0 of the densities
affect (local) path properties of the processes. This
is based on a joint work with M. Takeda and K. Tsuchida
