The classical Calderón inverse problem asks whether we can determine the conductivity in an isotropic linear elliptic equation and by the Dirichlet-to-Neumann (DN) map. With some mention of its applications in medical imaging and geophysics, we will focus on the classical approach to solve the uniqueness problem, as well as discuss the case with nonlinear and anisotropic conductivities.
